🚩Decision Intelligence is not about your algorithms.
You can use ML, OR, Rules, Computation, Math, GenAI, etc. it doesn't matter.
✨If it's not tied to a business decision, it's just math.
That's why Decision Intelligence always starts with decision modeling.
Decision modeling uses systems thinking to:
1️⃣ Break a complex decision into smaller, more understandable units
2️⃣ Identify each unit's inputs, dependencies and business knowledge.
3️⃣ Define clear metrics of units and KPIs for success supported by metrics
4️⃣ Model the decision logic using based on the requirements and nature of each unit.
The result is a visual, executable model that shows how decisions are made and how they run in the real world.
Each decision unit can then plug in the right algorithm such as business rules, ML, optimization, or computation logic.
Once you build your decision model, it becomes the glue that connects all these different logics for execution.
💡Decision Intelligence starts with decisions, not algorithm of the logic or data.
